Case study · Client · Finance
This CFO saves a day a week with a company brain, and now spends far more time with clients.
An outsourced CFO serves eight small and mid-sized companies alone. Production work, the reports, decks and analyses, took 70% of the week. With a second brain connected to the accounting software, it now takes 20%, and the working week is four days long.

Figures given by the client in a filmed interview, October 2026.
The expert was busy producing, not advising.
A part-time CFO sells judgement: reading the numbers, warning early, helping a founder decide. But most of the week went into production: pulling figures out of the accounting software, building decks, writing the same kind of analysis for each client.
With eight clients and no team, every new client meant more evenings.
A second brain wired to the accounting.
We built a second brain on the founder's own computer, in Claude Code, with one folder per client. It connects to the accounting software and the project tool, so it reads the figures directly instead of waiting for them to be copied.
Skills turn the recurring work into a single command: a client deck, a LinkedIn post or a carousel to keep the pipeline warm.
Context
One folder per client: their figures, their history, the decisions taken together.
Connect
The brain reads the accounting software and the project tool through secure connectors.
Skills
Recurring outputs become commands: decks, posts, carousels.
Review
The CFO reviews and adjusts. The judgement stays human.
